your emergency medical services are covered by police officers and not trained in ems bls/als and have little or no training or equipment in an emergency as a first responder and do little or NONE as far as treatments medically to help victims of trauma from auto accidents,and have no business being in charge of deciding who is called for critical patients,on a 911 call of accident with injuries,and cause further injury..... or let die ... the victims of such........I know I was there and watched and I was trying to help as officers from all surrounding areas did NOTHING medically,and stated "we don't know much"..and it was.. 28minutes for la city medics.??..#41..find out why two teens laid there and died without proper medical care,no oxygen no Iv nothing seemed urgent to the city fire dept, even once on the scene ...care ambulance crew,who took there time and without even a blanket,patient laid on gurney and rolled around from side to side while arguments on where medics would finally transport to ....nearest trauma center is about 20 more minutes so a young hispanic kid slowly went to heaven.....outside of ambulance for over 10 min.without medical treatment and on scene whittier pd(1st) called to see what was holding medics up,norwalk pd(2nd) santa fe springs pd(3rd) La habra p.d.(4th) hwy patrol La Mirada and sadly LAST came L.A.city fire (backup or some kind of ?)and FINALLY L.A.City fire#41 (medic transport 7mins. after,than CARE ambulance..........and extraction of driver(deceased) another 20 min.all the while passenger laid as stated above....I had an investigation done......OUTCOME went like this......Quote;all followed ems protocol's,PD is considerer emergency medical services and all responded in 7 minutes and both victims were transported to trauma centers.45 minutes later. signature be ems m.d. director.and QUOTE what are your thoughts on this...you probly did not even realize police officers are considered EMERGENCY SERVICES does this make YOU FEEL SAFE ON THE STREET IN CASE OF AN emergency?an accident? ????????????
