took my 2 dogs here for grooming. When I got home I realized that one dog's nails had not been trimmed, as I was told they would be. It was an inconvenience to have to return, but everyone makes mistakes, so i called to tell them I would be coming in the next day and why.
When I arrived the owner (who would be clipping my dogs nails) was sitting in the parking lot. The girl at the front desk called her to come in. During this time I noticed that my Pug was cowering and very uncomfortable. Very uncharacteristic for her.
When the owner came in she was acting like I had inconvenienced her. No greeting, no apology for making me return. When She began cutting my dogs nails the dog started to panic. I have never seen her like this, but I assumed it was from the 2 shop dogs who were growling at each other and running around. When I went to ease my dog the owner told me that I should back away, and that her agitation was my fault. When she continued to whimper and struggle I spoke to her to try to calm her. The owner scooped her up and took her into another room, claiming it was my fault that the dog was struggling.
It was heartbreaking. I felt so horrible for subjecting my dog to such treatment. This woman was horrible to my dog.
When I got her home there was blood all over the back seat of my car. I realized the owner had cut her nails too short, and that was why she was so distressed. She must have been in excruciating pain.
Needless to say, I will never bring my dogs to this place again, and I suggest that anyone who has a pet they love stay far away from this place.
