I purchased a used washer and dryer from this place and after the 90 day warranty expired, my washing machine stopped draining. I called and was told I would need to call the ""tech department"" and was not givin a number, so I called the second number listed (not in the yellow pages, but in the freakin newspaper ad) and was greeted (if you can call it that) by a man asking what I needed. \r
I asked if this was the appliance tech department and he just kept asking what I needed. "" I need the tech department"" , he says again "" what do you need?"" and ""how did you get this number?"" "" I got this number out of the newspaper ad you ran."" he says again ""what do you need?""\r
""is this the appliance center? ""\r
The man on the phone says "" I am the owner, what do you need?"" .\r
Believing that I have just answered this question one too many times, I elaborate stating I have spent 400-500 dollars at his establishment and need the tech department because my washing machine is not working and why is he being so rude to someone that has not only been a customer, but spent a substantial amount of money on his wares. ""Do you want to schedule a service tech?"" he says in an agitated tone.\r
In the end he made an unproffesional and lazy attempt at scheduling a repair, which I refused and called ""Standard T.V. and appliance"" and was given courteous and professional attention to my problem. \r
These people might as well be selling appliances at the flea market ""as is"" \r
Sorry Discount Appliance Connection, in the modern world you cannot treat customers poorly it will come back and bite you in the ***
