CCHR was co-founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights. Today, it has more than 135 chapters in 34 countries.
Its board of advisors includes doctors, lawyers, educators, artists, business professionals, and civil and human rights representatives.
We are so lucky that San Jose has a CCHR chapter.

I witnessed CCHR assist someone, being held against their will in a mental hospital, get released from that hospital. They have assisted in filing law suits against psychs. They are very for you if you have been abused in any way.
