Circa 55

I expected the atmosphere to be top notch at Circa 55; it IS in the Beverly Hilton, after all. But the fact that their appetizers and drinks were so ""generous"" was a bit of a surprise to me. The drinks are VERY strong, and the Shrimp Cocktail was GINORMOUS, not to mention delicious. Seriously, this place is amazing. Even if it means splurging a little, treat yourself to an evening like a rockstar! Pros: HUGE shrimp, strong drinks, beautiful people, posh/open atmosphere Cons: $$$$, but it's 90210... what did you expect? more

This place is amazing in pretty much every way. The ambiance, lighting, furniture... everything was first class. We had a great waiter who was very charming and personable. I went with my girlfriend for our anniversary and we let the waiter know that. At the end of the meal the manager came over to congratulate us. There is no doubt this place is as fancy as any other high end restaurant in Beverly Hills, but the fact that the staff there were so polite and warm puts this place lengths ahead of Cut, Spago, Chow's or anywhere else that comes to mind. And then there was the food... Excellent and unique at the same time. I had a perfectly done steak and my girlfriend had a Moroccan Roasted Halibut which was like nothing I have ever tasted before. Run to this place now before you will have to wait three months to get a table. The menu is pricy, but in line with other BH restaurants. The only difference is that Circa is worth it. Enjoy.
