This pizza joint/amusement center/arcade/restaurant is always busy on Saturday afternoons, but never so packed that you can't find a place to sit and eat your pizza, or so busy you have to wait in line to try a favorite game. Parents and children who arrive together are stamped when they come in the door, and on the way out the staff verifies that the children are leaving with the adults they came with. Children under 18 cannot come in unaccompanied by an adult, making this a safe, family oriented place.
Most games allow players to win tickets that can be redeemed for small prizes. All games give you at least one ticket after putting your token in, and all games cost just one token. The best deals on tokens can be got at the food counter, with deep discounts on quantity - comparatively, the token machines are a rip off. The last time I visited with my 3 year old twin niece and nephew, every game was working, and when the Deep Freeze one we played gave us a 250 ticket bonus and the machine ran out of tickets, the attendant not only re-supplied the machine, but gave us a bonus 100 for reporting it and waiting for him to fix it to get our tickets! The female attendants wereunprofessionally ill-behaved whilst on their breaks as we were leaving, smoking, cussing and generally not behaving in a family friendly way.
It's great for all ages because there are two of every thing - a mini cheese factory, bop 'em, bicycle/helicopter, and basketball free throw, just to name a few - so the big kid games that the babies are drawn to have a similar game that is just their size. My nephew loved the skeeball, and my niece just wanted to pump in tokens and see tickets come out. The rollicking rides with characters were also a favorite.
One notable thing about this location is the Cheese Factory is suspended from the ceiling, because of the smaller space, and adults definitely can't fit through those tubes. There isn't a traditional arcade either - the focus is definitely the younger set, with computerized coloring and matching games.
The appearances by Chuck E. Cheese are only once every 2 hours or so, but the costumed employee made an effort to connect with every child.
The food isn't bad, but it's way overpriced, as are the ticket prizes. We bought cotton candy for the road and ate elsewhere. We blew $70 on tokens and got nearly 1800 tickets, which yielded 2 purple plastic slinkies, and 2 mini basketballs.
