great bar for music and beer, what a bar should be 7/28/2008

in reply to the first review: we are a local band and we got paid. maybe they didn't like you. and if you're going to Big V's for rail drinks and long islands, you're going to the wrong place. buy pbr or summit or something. anyway, varieties of bands come through and it's a cozy, dark, kinda dirty bar which is exactly what it set out to be, so quit complaining about the unique bathroom. more

Expensive drinks, small venue, no-privacy bathrooms, rips off local bands. 6/8/2007

We performed at Big V's recently, and although musically the experience was great, the rest of the experience was really sub par. Pros: Stinky 25 cent Dakar and Polo cologne dispensers in the bathroom. Cons: bad stage, scary bathrooms, stiffs local bands, expensive drinks. more

great for seeing touring noise bands and such 11/28/2005

very fine noise music tends to be played at this bar. not the loudest of venues, but it is intimately sweet. Pros: music, friendly door keepers Cons: uni and snelling..? more

Hang out or Rock out 7/4/2002

During the week and when it is slow this is a great neighborhood bar to relax and hang out at. Cheap drinks and cozy atmosphere. At nights, especially weekends you can catch some great bands.
