  • Chinar on the Island was founded in 2004 by Igor Khanuk, Rufat Yusupov, and Solomon Berkovitch as a space that would bring premium Russian cuisine to Staten Island and surrounding areas. Just a short drive from New York City, Chinar on the Island is close enough for city dwellers to drive to for an impromptu night out, but also far enough away for you to make a special occasion of it.
