I ordered the General Tso's jumbo plate with plain fried rice, a side of lo mein noodles (small size), and 2 pork egg rolls. The General Tso's Jumbo plate came with 3+ cups of meat; enough for at least 3 people and probably even more. It was very tasty and I will definitely be trying other protein plates from China Garden in the future. The amount of rice that came with the jumbo plate was huge. It came in one of those square, Styrofoam to-go boxes most restaurants carry; the whole thing was full of the rice; amounting to about 4+ cups. The fried rice (plain) has the peas and stuff that most fired rice comes with. The flavor of the rice was good, but seemed under-seasoned. The Pork Egg Rolls were delicious and next time I'll order the 6 instead of just the 2. The rolls are about 1 to 1 1/2 inch in diameter and 2-3 inches in length. The plain lo mein noodles were a soggy and bland. I will not be ordering them again. more

Very unhappy with quality & quantity of food. The Chinese place at the BX on Lackland AFB (which I would rate as OK) BLOWS China Garden away. Too bad, I was hoping that China Garden would be really good, specially at their high prices. more
