My family and I were traveling through Martinsville on our way to Indy for a show and choose to stop in at Chili?s to eat. The Hostess greeted and seated us fine?.than it went downhill.
No one showed up to take our drink order, or maybe tell us the server would be with us shortly.
A server cleaned tables around us and conversed with her co-worker. A few servers stood around, pointed and questioned each other if the 2 tables (us) in front of them were theirs or not. Apparently our table didn?t have an assigned server, but the one in front of us did. We were practically seated in the middle of the room with NO SERVER!
After 10-15 minutes of waiting, we watched as the table in front of was seated with diners and instantaneously pounced on by the server.
Needless to say, we just stood up and walked out, McD?s is better than being treated like that.
In this economy one might think any numbers of guests are worth keeping happy in the restaurant business.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: No Service!
