Very fun zoo for kids 3/27/2006

The Saginaw Zoo is not huge, but they have done a lot with the space that they have. In the past few years, they have added new exhibits and cleaned the place up a lot. We went there a handful of times and my daughter loved it. Her favorite areas were the monkeys and the penguins. They also have a train ride and a carousel for a little added fun. It is smaller than the Detroit zoo, but much less crowded. It also is only $5 and kids under 2 are free. more

Children's Zoo 8/10/2005

The Children's Zoo is a fun place for your kids. It's cheap and located right in the city so anyone in the surrounding area can get there. The crowds are not bad, and there are tons of things for kids there besides just looking at animals. There are parks nearby, and the river is about a block away. The downtown area is only a few blocks over the bridge as well. more
