I had a great experience 6/2/2011

I recently went to Dr. Yahav to have my teeth cleaned. He was very quick and very thorough and my teeth felt squeaky clean. I was in and out in no time which I loved especially since I hate sitting for long periods of time. Although quick, he was very conscientious to make sure that I was doing O.K. He only mentioned that I needed one filling replaced but didn't push me to have it done right at that moment, just that it was something for me to think about. Luckily, I have great teeth thanks to the years of braces I wore as a kid. My hygienist, Kimberly, was a sweetheart and walked me through the whole process of flossing my teeth which can be difficult since I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom teeth. I know the reviews are mixed, but I had a great experience. more

Unbelievable - did for me in 1/12 weeks what every other doctor I saw quoted at least 4 weeks. He was professional, on-time, focused and I am so happy with my teeth! Would never go anywhere else. more

A pleasurable dentist experience 5/31/2011

Dr. Yahav is a great dentist and a generous person. My former dentist refused to fit me in to place a cap on my fragile tooth following a root canal, and my insurance company was not covering me to see a different doctor until the following month. Dr. Yahav agreed to perform the procedure to protect my weakened tooth, and accepted what I would have paid in co-pay, without any additional payment from the insurance company. His office is clean, his associates are professional, and he makes time to see his patients. Overall a pleasurable dentist experience. more

Have been a patient of Dr. Yahav for over 10 years. Very professional, courteous and willing to work with patients in all respects. Even willing to work out financial issues and to negotiate pricing as needed. Has the state of the art equipment and technology. Highly recommended. more

I would recomend Dr Yahav for any dental procedure 5/26/2011

I have been seening Dr Yahav for the past 20 years, and wouldn't dream of seeing another Dentist. 15 years ago Dr gave me a full set of veneers that look as good today as the day I received them. I continue to see Dr Yahav on a regular basis, as do my children, who enjoy thier visits with the Dr and his friendly staff. I would recomend Dr Yahav for any dental procedure. more

Dr. Yahav was offering free dental work on Christmas Eve to people who needed to have dental work done. Besides, the huge generosity he has, Dr. Yahav and his staff are very very friendly people. His work is great. I had a root canal. He has a beautiful office overlooking the Water Tower in Chicago's downtown area. more

The office is great 5/24/2011

I've been really impressed by the treatment I've gotten at Dr. Yahav's office. The office is great - easy to get to, very well organized, comfortable, clean and has state of the art technology (I've never had x-rays done so quickly). When I came as a new patient, my gums had been giving me trouble for some time. While previous dentists had (for several years) assured me that with enough flossing this would stop, Dr. Yahav quickly diagnosed the problem and scheduled me for a deep cleaning two days later. The procedure was quick, nearly painless, and a few days later my gums were completely healed. Throughout the procedure, and in the follow-up visit, Dr. Yahav was amazing. He was efficient, communicated effectively with his technicians, and was very responsive and friendly to me. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an Evanston dentist, and especially to Northwestern students. Dr. Yahav is a Northwestern alum himself, and he makes you feel right at home. The office has experience with the NU student dental plan, so there was no difficulty with paperwork or payments. And, the office is really easy to get to from campus. more

Dr Yahav is a great dentist 5/20/2011

I travel from the suburbs to see him in the city. He does his work quickly and well which I appreciate since I can't spend hours at the dentist. He also tries to keep costs down - I once had a potential root canal (which for those who don't know, are very expensive) - but he told me to try medication and a rinse first. No root canal! Now I make sure to visit him every 6 months. Although he comes across as rushed, he is always willing to listen to you and is very fair - just talk to him. more

Whether it has been for a cleaning or cosmetic repair, his knowledge, care, professionalism and most of all, patient/doctor communication and concern have been of the highest quality. This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I started going to Dr. Yahav a couple of years ago when I did not have insurance and he was very accomadating with working out a pay plan. I just had some work done recently and he has handled me with the greatest professionalism. I would highly reccommend him to anyone who cares about quality service and reasonable rates. more

Very professional and friendly 5/16/2011

My family and I have been clients of Dr. Yahav's for 15 years. Our family has had everything from veneers, to root canals, to crown procedures done at his practice and have had a very pleasant experience. The staff is very professional and friendly, the 3 offices are fully equipped, and the doctor takes time to explain the procedures he thinks are necessary. We trusted the quality of his work so much that we had our parents fly in from Russia to have their teeth done at Dr. Yahav's office. Also, the wait is usually not very long if you have an appointment. Would definitely recommend very highly. more

I had an excellent experience 5/13/2011

Since I don't have any dental insurance, I was looking for a special for teeth cleaning, which I found here at yelp with Dr. Yahav. I was a bit nervous going in since there seemed to be some mixed reviews; however, I had an excellent experience. The office is really nice, and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't have to wait at all, and Dr. Yahav took his time with me explaining everything and making sure i was feeling comfortable throughout the ultrasonic cleaning process. The office has digital xrays (90% less radiation) that show up automatically on the computer monitor. The ultrasonic cleaning was quick and painless and my teeth felt great after the procedure. Fortunately, I don't need any dental work at this time, but I was very happy to hear that Dr. Yahav's office accepts dental discount plans such as the Careington 500. I would highly recommend Dr. Yahav to anyone searching for a good dentist. more

I am pleased 5/12/2011

This is my first time visiting Dr. Yahav and I am pleased with the treatment received today. I had an excellent cleaning and a painless extraction done fast. Not only he treated me with professionalism, explaining me the procedure step by step, but also offered me accessible payment plans. I am definitely going back!! more

I was very pleased with the work he did 5/2/2011

When I went to Dr. Yahav's office I was scheduled to have my teeth cleaned and have a few fillings replaced. The office was very nice so that put me at ease while waiting (only about 10mins) for my work to get done. When it was all said and done I was very pleased with the work he did. I will probably go there again if I need any more work done. more

I first went to Dr. Yahav because his dental office is near my home, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect because I didn't have a referral. His office is really nice and his staff are very professional, competent, and friendly. Dr. Yahav is one of the best medical professionals I have ever been to. He is knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and friendly. Most importantly, he has done extensive work on my teeth (multiple crowns and inlays) and it has always gone very well, with minimal pain or none at all. I have referred family and friends to Dr. Yahav. He is a terrific dentist. more
