It's hard not to love living at Chestnut Townhomes and Apartments in Santa Cruz. We have a great location, close to the coast and wharf, and just blocks away from downtown. Most people hear 'Santa Cruz' and think 'surfing' - of course, the city is home to some awesome breaks, but there's so much more to do here. Spend the summer on the Big Dipper or Carousel at the Boardwalk, check out the annual film and Shakespeare festivals, or participate in the 'Wharf-to-Wharf' road race to Capitola. You can also head to Half Moon Bay to watch in awe as surfers try to ride Mavericks, one of the most challenging waves in the world. Santa Cruz is home to dozens of independently-owned stores and restaurants. You'll love browsing the local surf shops and finding the best taco in town. You can probably entertain yourself for an afternoon just walking around downtown, checking out the variety of street performers. Our apartments and town homes are spacious and open.
