Poor. I have made multiple attempts to contact this company to repair my fence and they have not responded to my voicemails (over 30 calls made, only 3 were returned) and, emails (five). I even stopped by the office once and as of 10:15 the office was still locked (they open at 10:00 according to their signs). All this despite the contract I signed eight weeks earlier and I was told my fence would be repaired in 2 weeks. One of the voicemails I had returned I had to lie- I stated I was calling for a new fence to be installed. They called back in 30 minutes that time. That told me everything I needed to know. more

It was evident that Chesley Fence can make a difference for their customers and needs. They were extremely knowledgeable and they use top tier materials which produce a great product.\r You can do your homework with our fence companies, but you will come back here. more

We tried to become a customer of Chesley since they are local, but we haven't been able to get a bid from them. I am finally giving up and am using another company. We received a bid for wood but have been waiting on a vinyl bid since April 13. My husband and I have both talked to Patty numerous times and she keeps promising us the bid. Very poor communication from this company. No need to use them when there our other fencing companies available in the area who have actually responded to our calls. more

I called Chesley fence for a repair and they never called me back. I called them again and reiterated that a section of my privacy fence is down and I need it repaired ASAP. After calling back a third, fourth and fifth time only to hear the same excuse as to why they are not returning my calls or fixing my fence, I am finished with them. They are apparently not interested in repair jobs, only new jobs. They installed my privacy fence about 5 years ago and over 100 feet of aluminum pool fencing just 2 years ago. I am sorry I used this company, they obviously do not understand the value of keeping repeat customers happy. I will be calling another fence company to make this repair and I will definitely never recommend them to anyone. more

Chesley Fence is a reputable company. This company is family owned and operated, and installs hundreds of fences yearly. Unfortunately, as in any business, there are customers that, as much as you try, you cannot satisfy.\r \r Chesley Fence Company has an A+ rating and is a member of the BBB. Needed a privacy fence that could contain my dogs and more importantly my son. \r \r Called Chesley and was greeted very nicely and we setup an appointment.\r \r Tom came out and we walked the property and took measurements. He had a few ideas that worked out great.\r \r The installation went great and the fence has added value to my property.\r \r The gate had a small issue and someone was sent out right away and took care of the problem.\r \r I would recommend them to my family and friends. more

I had a fence installed by Chesley Fence. Everything was great during installation and we were very happy. Their customer service after paying, however, was terrible. We could not get them to return calls, and they did not stand by the warranty promised. I would never use them again. Pros: Installers were professional and kept site tidy Cons: Once problems were discovered could not get anyone to come fix problems. more

We got a quote from this company when we were recently searching for companies. The staff is friendly and always returned our phone calls. However, we did not use them because no one came out and did a personal quote with us because we would have had to wait about 3 weeks just for that, and they would not meet or beat the price of another company without something in writing to prove it was the exact same fence, with the exact same specifications. That was too much work for us, when everyone else would just lower the quote. PROS: friendly CONS: price and rules more
