This is a fantastic Karate school with amazing instructors. I love this place. Totally family environment. Run by the Cheng family, under Master Paul Cheng's leadership with the help of his wife Mrs. Kathy, and his children Mr. Josh and Ms. Jade, both black belts.
My kids have being going there for two years and I have being taking Karate classes for the past 5 months. Karate truly has been a life changing experience to me, and has made a positive impact in my children's lives. My kids love all the classes. Cheng's Martial Arts combine Karate training, weapons training, sparring, and self-defense.They also have a Karate Team for the students willing to participate in tournaments. The School focus is not only teaching Karate techniques but also instilling values such as respect, setting and keeping goals, self-confidence, and resilience. The rates are very reasonable for the high quality classes they offer. The schedule is flexible too. They are currently offering classes in Drexel Hill and Bala Cynwyd. Both locations offer outstanding Karate classes. The instructors are all highly qualified, real martial artists, passionate, and caring with all students regardless of their level/age. They are patient, encouraging, personable, and inspiring. They make the classes challenging, engaging, and fun!!! I highly recommend Cheng's Martial Arts to all ages.
