Chavez Supermarket

Holla my name is Toni and I have been a loyal customer since June 30th of 05 I have shopped in quite a bit of Hispanic Grocery stores, because I am Mexican and I cook hispanic food so I need Latin ingredients for my meals. I remember the first time I walked in to the store I was truly impressed I fell in love with the store from beginning to end, from the great Produce (variety) to the Meats they had Harris beef unbelievable, the dairy section had cheese and other goodies I had never tasted and the turn around time to get service is unremarkable. the canned grocery section was stocked with Items that i had never even seen in other stores It was great, The hot foods were delicious and cooked when you order. I Honestly Have no Complaints the staff and management are The Bomb I walk in to the store about 5 to 6 times per week, and sometimes twice in one day because I am a nurse across the street in the hospital so I go grab a quick delicious lunch so as long as Chavez is their I'm their 100% Loyal Toni Fernandez at avhuitron2002@yahoo.com Keep it Up crew you Rock.. more

This store blew me away. I was not expecting to find such a high brow fresh food faire inside. It reminds me of the upscale Ralph's stores in LA near the rich areas, but with a mexican twist. The store is in great shape, extremely clean and organized. The personnel is fantastic, they could not be friendlier and are all bilingual. The bakery in the back of the store has very cheap fresh tortillas that are still warm (pounds of it for just under $2) and soft sweet breads 3 for $0.99 cents. The guava and papaya smoothie drinks are great, too. more
