My name is Carol. Me and my 2 children moved here from Charleston, SC in 2009. In Charleston, there is a focus on supporting small family (Mom & Pop) businesses. Since moving to Chattanooga, I havefound a few small businesses that I REALLY like: They are Sears Shoe Store (in North GA.), Armandos Burgers, and recently Chattanooga Mattress & Futons. I first bought Twin size beds and had them delivered for the kids. Then 6 months later, I needed a Queen size for myself. I decided on the new style of Memory Foam bed (w/ Gel Foam). And I have to tell EVERYONE, this is the best mattress!!. And with the money I saved here, I was able to buy a set of tires for the car!!! I love these guys! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! more

This is my first review for any type of business. But, the money I saved, and the services I received were worth my time to recommend: Chattanooga Mattress. I am a single mother of two children and I work 60 hours a week to make ends meet. Every dollar we spend, need to go a long way in our house. I spent an entire month shopping for a new mattress. That included every mattress and furniture store within an hour drive of Ooltewah, TN. The manager who helped me at Chattanooga Mattress was knowledgeable on many different mattresses, but quickly narrowed the ideal choices for me.... PLUS- the price was $700 to $800 less than the nearest competitor. I purchased a Queen Memory Foam mattress called the ""Versailles"" .... I have never slept so good in my life!! Me and my husband moved to Chattanooga from Flordia. there are more Futon Specialty Stores to choose from. After shopping around for a few weeks, and while at a chain store (Rooms to Go), and they referred us to Chattanooga Mattress & Futons. \r We purchased a solid wood Futon and a really nice 10"" Futon mattress on a Thursday. Then we had it delivered and set-up the next Monday at our home. It was a very easy purchase with no issues at all. I recommend this store for Futons over any other store in this area. more

I shopped for a new mattress for 3 weeks before I finally settled. At the last minute, when I was almost ready to buy, a friend recommended this store in East Brainerd--- Chattanooga Mattress. I honestly would have saved 3 weekends of wasted shopping time with my wife. The store clerk walked me through the sales process with no pressure sales at all-- nice change from other stores! I wanted to save money so I chose a Sealy Posturepedic clearance model. That saved me $875 from the closest competitor. Delivery was the same day that I paid for it. What else could I ask for... This mattress sleeps better than anything we've ever owned. Thank you Thank you Thank you! Highly Recommended! more

do NOT go to this Chattanooga Mattress place(out near/past Gunbarrel, Brainerd Rd-)...if u plan to go to a mattress store, check with the BBB first, bc we filed complaints over Chattanooga Mattress & found out there were many others dating back many many years!!!! there is one similar story we found to our experience in dealing with Brad on RipOffReport...look up Chattanooga Mattress! (*this site will not allow me to post the actual web address link*???) Our story was similar in that we had bought an auction Gift Certificate as a fundraiser for a local radio station, paid 'X # of $$$'s' for a valued King pillow top SET of over $2200.00; they kept saying it was not in stock yet, drove there several times, calls, after calls, messages, no return calls, over many months time of trying to get our bed set, the store actually changed their days & hours of opening! We ended up receiving a mismatched slightly damaged boxes set for the base a couple months AFTER the mattress was given to us (with damages, we later discovered-mattress had been *obviously rewrapped*)... contacted the radio station & the BBB & the manufacturer of the mattress, S&F(Sterns & Foster) to file complaints! S&F actually told us that THEY have rec'd complaints over this mattress place as well for them selling poor quality S&F products that were obviously used & NOT backing up the S&F guarantee & that S&F themselves were gonna file suit against them for non-payment! BAD*BAD*BAD!!!!!* more

Me and my husband were married in January '10. As a new couple, we really wanted new bedding and new mattresses. My parents recommended a little place in East Brainerd that they had always bought mattresses from over the years. The idea was to pick out ""anything we wanted within reason"". After shopping previously at other mattress and furnitures store, we had an idea of what we wanted. Once at Chattanooga Mattress & Futons, it was so easy!!! The sales person (Brad) asked us a few questions about how we sleep and directed us without ANY feeling of hi-pressure sales. I purchased a high end futon in May. Got my delivery within a week from the pruchase. My first experience was so good that I went back to get a new mattress in October. \r \r I found what I wanted for $180 less then what the mall area stores were asking for!!! \r \r Don't be fooled by the exterior of the store front and parking. After reading the previous review on this site, I thought it was only fair that I left my opinion of Chattanooga Mattress & Futons.\r I moved from Louisville, KY to Chattanooga, TN in October. I was in search for a Stearns & Foster mattress & box springs set like I had in KY. After a frustrating search at every Mattress Store in Chattanooga & North Georgia for a reasonable bargain, I discovered Chattanooga Mattress.\r Not only did I save $1300 from what I previously paid in Louisville, but I received same day delivery and set-up! The owner/ manager was not only helpful with the purchase, but was also thorough in mattress knowledge.\r They explained the 30 Day Comfort Exchange Policy. My purchase was for a ""Clearance"" or ""Red Tag"" (S&F) mattress, which saved me (as I stated before) $1300. \r Needless to say....I love my mattress!!!!
