You are safe at the marriott 3/14/2009

I would recomend going to the Hilton. You are not safe at this Mariott. Management will not help you with any issues relating to you safety. Check with Channel 36 for March 7 break in Pros: Can't think of any Cons: Marriott has not security more

Not my favorite 11/29/2008

The City Center Mariott is in serious need of an overhaul. The hotel rooms have not changed one bit since I first stayed there over 10 years ago. The airconditioning system is severely sub par - and seemingly linked into the exhuast system from the cigar bar. My rooms always stunk (I do have a highly sensitivie nose, but still).\r \r The rooms are small, poorly furnished, hot and in need of redecoration. And the hotel is EXPENSIVE - you can stay at the much nicer Westin, Courtyard or Residence Inn nearby for much less and much more comfortably! more

Great location but nothing special 3/9/2006

Recently checked in for a weekend visit to do some house hunting. The location is very central to everything downtown. A non-smoking room was not available so I was given a top floor corner room. The room was large but the bath was very small. No mini bar. The remainder of the hotel was very average. They should replace the sports bar with a more appealing eatery in keeping with the happening downtown. Pros: Location Cons: Restaurant more

No Room Service After 11pm 12/14/2002

Absolutely killed the hotel for me. How can you be a significant presence in the hotel scene in a city TRYING to be considered more savvy than it is AND NOT HAVE ROOM SERVICE AFTER 11PM???? Cons: no room service after, e after 11pm. more
