There is no convenient seating area for people waiting for international arrivals. Because there are as many as 1200-1400 passengers arriving in an hour and half period you can wait over an hour for your international people to clear customs. My elderly aunt & uncle were exhausted because of having to stand. more

A good airport from a traveler's perspective 1/16/2006

I travel for work very regularly. I have found the Charlotte airport to be one of the nicest I have experienced. There is a lot in terms of shops and restaurants, the people are friendly. Part of this could be due to the international nature of the airport, but it ranks favorably with any airport I have visited. more
