The Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice (CKCPJ) is a coalition of peacemaking groups and individuals, incorporated in 1984. They are a unique association of groups that addresses the whole fabric of peace and justice issues. Some groups are associated with religious denominations and others are secular. Some concentrate on peace within the individual, family, and community, and others emphasize international peace. But all of its member individuals and groups believe that peace and justice best can be advanced by working together. The Council facilitates and encourages communication and interchange of ideas among their members and within the community.
