Central Jersey Veterinary Emergency Service Corp

I've been to this place at least 20 or more times over the years working in rescue, as well as most every other animal hospital in NJ. The fact is, you never know what you're going to get, it's a complete crapshoot and I dread every visit to the vet's office I'm forced to make, especially emergency services. I've had way more nightmare experiences than sastifactory ones and very few really good ones. That's the plain truth. I sit here now, with a sick dog, agonizing over what to do. My choices consist of 3 emergency vets I've already been to and would be happy to never go to again, and about 3 more within two hours of my house that have and average review rating of two stars. So, where will I go to have my dog mishandled, misdiagnosed and possibly harmed, my intelligence insulted, be treated rudely and then be grossly overcharged. Of course, then I've got tomorrow to look forward to when I'll have to take a day off of work to go to my regular vet to have him looked at again because there's an 80% chance that whatever treatment he receives today will either be insufficient or worse, to his detriment. I'm sure most people who read this will know exactly where it's coming from. Wherever you go, the best of luck to you my friends, as luck seems to be all we have. more

Wait wait wait. Even when its not busy. Plus a poor dog got blood all over and no one was there to clean it. Don't expect miracles from the vet- he/she is prob a hack at best... more

My dog got sick over the weekend one day and the place we usually take our dog to was closed. So we walked right into this place and they accepted us right away. They were able to help us with our dog and give us medicine for her. They look at the dogs pending on how serious it is just like at a normal hospital. A plus to this place is that it is opened weekends and holidays as well as normal days. more
