I left doggy day care because my dog was always afraid to go back. He just wasn't himself when I came to pick him up. When I explained this to the owner, Sue, she snapped at me and said he was probably tired.
I had a bad taste at the Central Bark Oak Creek location the moment I talked to Sue on the telephone. She was very unclear on the application process and not very accommodating to my busy schedule. For my orientation, she was very rude that I arrived 15 minutes early because it was not a good time for her. Every time I picked up my pup, I was lectured for 15-45 minutes on products to purchase, classes to attend, and suggested ways for me to take better care of my puppy. It felt more like a dog sales group instead of a doggy day care.
From what I can see (I was refused of a tour of the facility), the dogs do not go outside.
We now go to a different doggy day care now that is less expensive and my puppy LOVES it there.
