When my sisters wedding reception was double booked and the place she should have had the reception at cancelled 30 minutes prior to the reception on her... The Wash bar picker up the ball and opened the basement with a DJ with no prior notice for over 100 people so we could have the wedding reception. They literally saved the wedding! The staff was friendly, the food was good! THIS IS THE BEST BAR IN THE WORLD!! more

A True Landmark 1/9/2005

Washington's is not just a typical burger joint. The service there is excellent, the food tasty, and the drinks inexpensive. The atmosphere is what makes Washington's so interesting. The business is over 27 years old and is filled with old movie props, and collectibles. There is a beautiful stained glass window at the main bar of George Washington that is over 30 feet high. Washington's without a doubt is the best place to get a burger in Fort Collins. It's not just dining because it truly is a unique experience. Pros: landmark, great service, best burger in town more

A Great Bar...With Food 6/20/2004

Washington's is a fun mix of crazy decor, cheap (good) drinks, and a fun menu. Long Island Iced Tea is under three bucks for goodness sakes! I had a black and blue burger. It was a little heavier on the black pepper than on the blue cheese, but it was good and BIG. I chose a salad for my side dish and it was a good choice. I'm sure this place is rocking for happy hour and for a rowdy dinner crowd. Fancy it's not but that's what makes this place great! Pros: Atmosphere, Cheap Drinks, Atmosphere more
