Cazadores Mexican Restaurant

We visited the restaurant recently with friends of ours, a party of four. We were greeted at the door, and seated where we asked for in a booth. I ordered seafood Yucatecos camaron"", the shrimps (14) were cooked to their perfection with vegetables, it was so fresh and tasty. My wife also like her appetizer ""Queso Fundido con camaron"", the shrimps were fresh with plenty of cheese in it. The prices were so reasonable and the service was fast (we normally don't like to wait in a restaurant). We all left with great satisfaction and are sure to come back more often. more

We visited this restaraunt hoping for some good mexican food. However all we received was crap. When we arrived, we couldnt figure out if we seat ourselves or wait for someone. There was nobody to greet us at the door. Once were seated, theres no silverware or napkins. Were asked to order our food and we just had received our menus. We decided on some jalepenio poppers. They had very little cheese inside and basically tasted like they came out of a frozen package. I ordered the fish tacos, my partner ordered a quesedilla, filled with beef, onion, mushroom, and green bell pepper. Once the food arrived, I wished I had ordered his plate instead of mine. My fish didnt have any taste. It came with some sort of orange dressing, some dry spanish rice and lots of lettuce with very little pico de gallo. My plate left me wanting some sour cream or guacamole as my tacos were very dry. I tasted my partners dish, and enjoyed the flavor of the bell peppers, mushroom and onion with the beef tips. His quesedella was crispy and nice. came with a small dollop of sour cream and guac. with refried beans and rice. For drinks, I ordered a presidente margaritta which was very potent (the highlight of my order) and my partner ordered a sprite. Im giving this place 1 star, only because zero stars wasnt an option. Im guessing who ever wrote the ""good"" reviews about this place were probably the owners of the restaraunt. more

I visited this restaurant earlier in the week with my mother. We saw the website online and printed out their specials. However, when we were seated they would not honor their own coupon . We were told it was not for their location, probably blue ash...hmmm....it's posted on their website.duh? My food was okay, I was not impressed with the chicken enchilada, I did like the chips and salsa pretty well along with the chicken taco, average tasting overall. I am very pleased there. The biggest disapointment was discovering I was billed twice for my meal, while reviewing my bank statements online. I am in process of filing a dispute with my bank to recover my money. If you decide to visit be aware if these items are of concern to you. more

We are new to the area and went to Cazadores based on the reviews found here. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. Though the service was quite good, I cannot say the same about the food or the margaritas. The chips tasted as though they came from a bag and the salsa from a jar - I am looking for something more authentic and tasty. Both of our dinners were bland and lacked some of the standard accompaniments, such as lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. I am still searching for an amazing margarita and was hopeful after reading one of the reviews, but I did not care for the sour mix they use. Normally I would not comment about that because it comes down to personal preference, but for $7.99 (and that is not for top shelf) I expected much more. We are still looking for a great Mexican restaurant. more

Friends and I were wondering where to dine on Saturday evening, we ended up at the Cazadores in Mason, where we had a wonderful time and would like to share the good experience. more

The cheapest beer and margarita's in town! 40OZ drafts for $4.00 and margaritas for $1.75 in a huge goblet glass. The salsa is great with the free warm chips you get. This is as authentic as you can get, with everything made from scratch daily. Good for the family or your buddies. Try the Chicken taco's, burritos & rice, chile relano, and for desert their fried ice cream is THE BEST. Try Cazadores b4 any other mexican restaurant. Pros: hot waitress, cheap drinks, tasty generous portio Cons: closes at 10pm, no habla espanol more
