Taxi in Ithaca 12/6/2005

I eventually brought a car up to Cornell and did not need to use taxis, but before hand, I would occasionaly have to take taxis. Cayuga Taxi is one of the few choices for students. The prices are fairly good. The service is very variable depending on what time of day you go and what day of the week too. Weekend nights are tough especially if you are trying to get home from a party; however, usually it isn't too hard. Make sure you put on your seatbelt because some of the drivers tend to drive a tad fast, at least for my taste. more

Good for those late nights when you have trouble walking 9/7/2005

Cayuga Taxi is one of the few taxi services around. It is good for various reasons. A lot of students use it to get around campus or around town. Many use it on Friday and Saturday nights when they need to get to parties or get back after a long night. Demand can sometimes be pretty high for the taxis and it could take anywhere from thirty minutes to one hour to get a cab. The drivers vary from nice to crazy, and make sure to wear your seatbelts. Overall, Cayuga Taxi is a good service if you need to get somewhere in a rush. It is a bit more expensive than a bus, but if you can find a friend to take you, that would obviously be better. The number is easy to remember which is always a plus. more
