Average Greasy Spoon with below average breakfast 9/13/2005

There are not many restaurants in Mason, so you don't have a lot of choices especially for breakfast. The one thing a place like this should be good at is breakfast unfortunately the Cayenne Grille uses inferior ingredients. A cheese omelets is made with Velveeta like processed cheese and the menu is tiny. This place is always full at dinner and breakfast, but I have a feeling it's just for lack of competition. more

Great little restaraunt 8/17/2005

The Cayenne Grille in Mason is literally a hole in the wall restaurant that offers excellent food in a very unique atmosphere. This restaurants décor consists of a unique variety of antiques and photographs. The food they offer is delicious with some of their desserts tasting absolutely amazing. The only downside is the small space that it occupies. However, they do offer their menu items as take-out and regardless, this place is definitely worth fighting the crowds for. more
