Cat Hospital of Petaluma

WHEN I FIRST CAME TO THE CAT HOSPITAL AND MET DOCTOR LIZ MARTINEZ--I HAD A SICK CAT---HOW SICK I DIDN'T REALIZE----LIZ TREATED HER---WE BOTH KNOW THAT ITS A TEMPORARY FIX----THEN LO AND BEHOLD---MY BIG HIMALAYAN--BUDDY---WHO WAS VERY OLD---GOT SICK---WELL--I TOOK HIM TO SEE THE DOCTOR---SHE X-RAYED HIM--AND WE BOTH KNEW AGAIN THAT I WAS GOING TO LOSE HIM---HE PASSED AWAY THAT DAY IN HER OFFICE---THESE PEOPLE ARE SO COMPASSIONATE THAT I CAN'T BELIEVE IT----IT SEEMS THE ONLY TIME THAT I;M IN THE OFFICE---I'M CRYING LIKE A BABY----SHE BROUGHT BUDDY IN TO THE ROOM---SO I COULD SAY GOODBYE---WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATED---I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GO THERE SOME TIME AND HAVE A NORMAL CONVERSATION---WITHOUT BLUBBERING ALL OVER THE PLACE----THE DOCTOR IS MAKING ARANGEMENTS FOR BUDDY---I WILL PICK HIM UP NEXT WEEK---\r I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS CAT HOSPITAL---THEY ALL UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU LOVE A PET---IT'S LIKE LOVING A PERSON---AND WHEN THEY GO----ITS VERY HARD---\r THANKS AGAIN LIZ----I HOPE SOMEDAY I CAN LEAVE THERE WITH A HEALTHY KITTY----\r YOU PEOPLE ARE TOPS IN MY BOOK------\r THANKS AGAIN---RAY DE PUCCI--- Pros: A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR CATS-AND PEOPLE-- Cons: NO DRAWBACKS---ITS ALL GOOD-- more

Everything about the Cat Hospital of Petaluma is fabulous!!! I have lived in 3 states with my 2 cats and this vet is the best one by far. I honestly recommend to anyone who has cats or is looking for a new cat. They have rescued kittens and cats for adoption. \r I have been going to the Cat Hospital of Petaluma for 6 years now and every experience I have with them is perfect, even under less then perfect conditions. They are always patient with all of my questions and take the time to explain all of the procedures and provide helpful information. I never feel rushed during the exam or phone consultation or like my cats are just ?an animal? rather then my babies. I never feel like they are doing tests or procedures to increase their bill. I truly feel like they care about my cats and their health. I feel extremely comfortable putting my cats in their care. more

The people here are so patient and caring.It makes the whole time so much easier.They also have a great product selection so you seldom need to make any extra stops. more

We found this vet when our cat was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to find a vet that really cared. The entire staff at Cat Hospital of Petaluma is sensitive, caring and very sincere. Even going through such a hard time we found relief knowing that we were going to the best place and treated with such compassion. The were kind to us and our cat from beginning to sadly, the end. I would recommend this Vet to anyone in the north bay. It's worth the drive. They are cat lovers and blew our family away with their care and concern, even after our cat died. This vetrinarian is the BEST!!!! They are a cat-only clinic which is nice for the animals as there are fewer threatening smells. My cat is neurotic and they treat him like the only neurotic cat on earth...they are tender and caring and put his needs above all else! What a wonderful, caring and helpful group of people. The doctors are knowledgeable and experienced in their field. They listen to you and answer your questions. Best of all, they care about your cat. The entire staff is friendly and caring. They'll accommodate you in an emergency, and they'll even do housecalls. I started taking my cats there when I lived around the corner six years ago. I now live two miles away and still go there. If I moved out of the city, I still wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They are simply the best. Pros: Knowledge, Experience, They Care more
