i had a great experience adopting my little boy kitten here a few days ago. the environment was very clean and healthy for the cats, and all of the cats seemed not only healthy, but happy. they have a TON of cats so i ended up spending a good 3 hours there trying to decide which one i should take. it was the hardest decision, they are all so cute and loving! the staff was really patient and helped me pick out the perfect kitten ( i had to be picky because the kitten would have to work well with my current cat at home) andn answered all of the questions i have. i have adopted from the oregon humane society before and i actually like how the cat adoption team is set up better, its less like they are trying to get you to take home this specific cat right now, and more like take your time, make sure its a great match and if you dont find one today, come back another time! it was a great experience for me and i love the little guy i adopted. the only thing i would say was negative is that it is very hectic there in the upstairs area and they tend to nickle and dime you more so here than at other shelters (ex you have to pay for the carboard kitty carrier you take them home in where as at the humane society they give you them for free, you have to buy the collar and tags where as the humane society gives you them for free) but they do give you a bag of litter when you adopt and some kitten food to take hom for free so thats a plus.
Pros: very clean, cats were well taken care of
Cons: a little hectic
