I made a foolish mistake by judging a dentist by a website and went to Dr. Cary Schwartz in search of attaining the perfect teeth and repairing some minor damage from years of braces. I went to Dr.Schwartz and found him to be a real-life swindler, scam artist and overall a very poor dentist (and human being!). Little did I know that he was on the verge of retirement and suckered me into getting full mouth work (general dentistry and veneers) for $40,000. He rushed through the work and bragged about how fast he was.
When I first met him, he was very nice and seemed sincere, then the minute he started working on me, he became very rude, short and not very nice at all. I vowed to never go back to him and went to his partner instead who finished my work.
I ended up spending over $40,000 but I didn't get the full mouth work done as I had in my rushed through contract and now after two years, I am getting hounded by a collection agency saying that I owe $12,000 still. I should countersue for harassment, trauma and for misleading and tricking me into getting an almost full set of veneers (when all I needed was bonding). Unbelievable. But I guess sometimes people need to milk it for all they've got while they can.
Unfortunately I was a victim of circumstance and I still have nightmares and sweat over the thought of Dr. Schwartz working on me.
