Great Library 8/20/2005

This may be the best Carnegie Library branch to study and read in. The facilities are new and immaculate, and unlike the Carnegie library on 5th Avenue. The location isn't crowded and noisy. great new space for lounging and learning 8/20/2005

The newly redeveloped Carnegie Library in Squirrel Hill is an amazing new space that beckons you to pick up a book and lounge around. The giant glass-and-copper-screen enclosed reading room is perfect for chilling with a book, magazine, or laptop. You're even allowed to bring closed-top beverages. The additional open space does come at the expense of some of their collection. But the quick and convenient book request will have titles brought to this branch for your pickup. more
