Carlani's Italian Restaurant

When most of my friends, who have been to Italy due to the Military or simply a dream vacation, they have always talked of the Marsala sauce,and how different it is in the states. I have had the Carlanis Marsala sauce and it is quite different than any restaurant I have ever been to. They serve not only serve it over the meat of your choice, I had the Veal, you could cut it with a spoon, but you want more, I have it over pasta, with extra sauce, and can you believe it not extra charge, who does that these days. Good Marsala is hard to find, let alone good food, try Carlanis I know you will be happy, Pros: Acceptional service, not once but every time, at least that We have been there Cons: If in the summer months, could be a little too cold, bring a sweater. more

For Mothers Day my family took me to Carlanis in Orange Park, I had heard of this place but never had the chance to go, the hot crusty bread was served with something I have not had, it was a garlic bulb, warm and the server explained how to spread it on bread. Wow, what a treat, the service was unbelievable, we had a server with an accent, Im not sure how to pronounce his name, but the best service my family agrees they have ever had. When we were served our plates I was very impressed how beautiful the plates looked and it was so nice that everyone at our table all reacted the same when the food came, wow, the food from Steak Marsala to the Lasagna was absouletly delicious. I always cook for my family especially Holidays or get -togethers this was just such a treat, Pros: Great food and service Cons: may have to park on grass, but available more
