I like Caribou Coffee, and make no bones about it. During the work week, I frequent the Caribou uptown location (Overstreet Mall) on such a regular basis that they make my large-Turtle-Mocha, skim-please, yes-I-still-want-whip as soon as they see me stroll through the door. However, if you are in South Charlotte the Caribou to visit is in Colony Place at Colony & Rea Roads. Unlike some other Charlotte coffee shop locations, it's easy to drive in/out of this one and traffic isn't usually an issue. Depending on the time of day you visit, parking directly in front of Caribou can be a bit tough; however, you will still find parking around the corner. \r

On their recent Pumpkin Spice Coffee Steamer promotion, this location still had it when all other Charlotte Caribou locations had sold out. This Caribou has outside seating, and the interior is the same ""hunting lodge"" feel that you know from other Caribou Coffee shops. If you see me seated at one of the tables with my laptop, writing away at one of my books, feel free to say ""Hey!""
Pros: Off the South Charlotte main traffic corridors; inside/outside seating options (weather permitting); easy to drive in/out
Cons: Depending on time of day, in/out parking can be an issue...but you can still find a space
