Career Care Institute - Lancaster

The people below that wrote negative reviews are disgruntled students. I am finishing up the X-ray technology course and it has been great. They are fully accredited, in fact I have been a part of 2 accreditation renewals, including BPPE, and CCI has been renewed without any problems. The below negative comments are from students that couldn't cut it. CCI is an advanced education institution and it is not an easy school. If you don't have an adult attitude and the desire to put in the work required, you will fail and probably blame the school for it. Every instructor is outstanding, the administration is friendly and bends over backwards to help out.\r This is a school for serious students. They are not going to give you an education for free, you have to put in the work. But the education you get is well worth the money paid. I am an older student, 50+ years old, have attended several colleges in my life: Oregon SU, Colorado SU, Grantham University, Ashworth College and now CCI. CCI is on the same level as OSU and CSU and I am very pleased with their courses.\r On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being outstanding, I rate CCI a 9. They are for mature adults who are serious about an education and will put the work in to be successful.\r more

Career Care Institute is currently Under Investigation with the BPPE. If you have a complaint about CCI alleged law violations and/or inside knowledge, please contact Tori Gaines of the BPPE at telephone (916) 431-6926. CCI has settled some of the lawsuits against them but not all of them. more

Before you make a decision, go and check them out! They are great! Accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. If they weren't you wouldn't be able to receive Financial Aid which they do have. They are even giving Ipads to the Vocational Nursing Students. Don't be misled they truly are helpful!! The Admissions department is very helpful and they never pressure into enrolling. more

I WENT TO GOLD COAST CARRER SCHOOL, WHICH IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CARRUSCO FAMILY. I FINISHED MY EDUCATION, BUT NEED TO DO CLEARANCE OF A MISDEAMENOR, I RECEIVED A LETTER OF DENIAL FROM THE STATE FOR A CNA LISENCE. GOLD COAST CHARGED ME $90.00 FOR THE TEST FEE. THIS SCHOOL WAS CLOSED DOWN FORCEFULLY BY THE STATE. I CONTACTED CCI ALL PAPERWORK IS THERE. I NEVER RECEIVED MY HOME HEALTH CERTIFICATE. ALICIAN THE "FAT HISPANIC BROAD AT THE FRONT DESK, TOLD PATTY CARRUSCO THAT SHE MAILED IT TO ME. ALICIAN NEVER DID, PATTY CARRUSCO WANTED TO CHARGE ME $40.00 FOR THE CERTIFICATE. THE SCHOOL OWES ME $90.00 FOR THE STATE BOARD TEST. THEY NEVER SENT ME MY CHECK, AFTER THEY WERE SHUT DOWN. well plain an simple this school SUCKS all they worry about is there money ..there instructors sux ..they treat you like little kids and they dont teach you right ...the accuse you for random things they threaten to kick you out all the time ..they never answer your calls or repond to your message..they take forver to put u on a site i dont recommend no one going there ...THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN !!!!!...(even embarassed to wear there scrubs...which are to expensive n cheap ) more

OKAY, I can tell already that these ""academic scholars"" writing these reviews are those students at the back of the class talking consistently! getting booted out for not following simple instructions... I go to class every day and study pass my tests and am getting through just fine. CCI is very fast paced so if you need time to learn the material giving then it is not right for you. The instructors are great and about the whole ""letting gang bangers and convicts"" into the school FYI they really don't convicts cant even get a license! OH and if your daughter is getting harassed PERHAPS she is being a stuck up diva JUST a though.... we are all adults i doubt anyone is just going to pop off and harass you beloved child. Also, that really has nothing to do with the school! They give you the material its YOUR job to use it!!! don't blame them for your lack of study! more

I just graduated from CCI and I can tell you that it will be very difficult. There were many times I wanted to quit. The staff is hard on you and you will have to earn their respect. My only truly negative thing (that is big!!) is the clinical sites don't prepare you. Too many senior living clinicals and the teachers are so worried about you passing meds that you really don't learn. But, in theroy class you do learn what it takes to pass the boards. I think everyone in my class that has taken the NCLEX has passed so far. So you may get your license, but you may not know how to do anything .....which is very frightening. I would try AV college it may take longer, but it is way cheaper and prepares you better. I am finishing my core class and going in second year RN program there. I have only hear good things. I wish someone told me before I chose CCI more

I am planning to attend Career Care Institute (Lancaster campus) this coming November for their LVN program. Can any please tell me about this school? I've never heard of this school. Please advice. more

the school in lancaster doesnt hold all students to the same standards... some students are allowed to get away with thing that are illegal!!!! with doing nothing to them... check out any other school in the AV! dont waste your time! the administrators are only concerned with them selves and the money they make off the students..., they will avoid answering questions you have (ummm when you pay them 25 grand they should answer every question you have!!!!) more
