They were fair and professional 3/10/2011

My car repairs took a bit longer than anticipated so they paid for a rental car for me. All in all I was pleased with the staff and the quality of work. I would recommend them. more

thanks for the awesome, fast, and friendly service. bronwyn was especially helpful, getting the car in quickly, and speeding service through so that we could have the car back in time to pick up our kids at 3pm from school and daycare the day it was finished. we're happy you guys are here in alameda, and we can support a local business that does as good a job, or better, than a dealership. we'll be back! more

I'm generally very satisfied with my experiences here. Its easy to get an appointment and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I like that they keep track of the services they perform on my vehicle in the event I can't remember something. more

Very good service 1/22/2011

In general I liked the quality of service I received. However, there were two areas that I think can be improved. 1st: You kept my car too long. You had it ll day for a 55,000 mile check up with an oil change; 2nd: I was not able to use my credit card because your system was down... luckily I had a check with me and I was able to pay that way. 3rd:The lady who checked me in was gone for the day and the gentleman who checked me out had not been informed that I had asked to have my service book updated. more

I have been going to Car Care Service for years and have always received excellent, friendly, efficient, affordable and trustworthy service. I live in Lafayette and happily commute to Alameda for such excellent care. I highly reccommend Care Care Service to all!! more

My experience was wonderful! I went to Car Care because of their great Yelp reviews. They were friendly and efficient. My car was inoperable, and since visiting Car Care it's been running for two weeks without a problem! more

Excellent on all 1/17/2011

They were ready for me at the appointed time. Asked for oil change and check all fluids. Quick - got a call before I could finish my coffee and found I needed no oil change- HONEST and replaced my wipers at no cost as they were defective. HONEST HONEST THRU AND THRU AT NO COST TO ME. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. MUCH BETTER THAN THE DEALER THAT CHARGED ME TO LOOK AT AN OVERHEAD LIGHT AND THEN DIDN'T EVEN FIX IT. THANK YOU THANK YOU Marlynn more

excellent timely work 1/17/2011

Went in for brakes. 'Free' overall inspection found several items including wiper blades, air filter, and tires. Could have been add-ons for the dealers benefit, but probably not. Dealer did excellent work, accurate estimate and completed in a timely professional manner. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future. more

Care Care Service is complete with honest, personable, and skilled folks 1/10/2011

Wayne and crew have a great pool of knowledge and are willing to share that knowledge. We've been bringing our two VW Passats there for a few years now and each time have had a good experience. they are very technical and take the time to show you the issue. more

Long record of good work 1/3/2011

I have an old VW Diesel. Service has been good, in spite of a difficult diagnostic problem in the electrical system a few years ago. When their most experienced diesel man moved to Alameda, I continued to drive from North Berkeley, rather than risk an unknown mechanic of probably lesser quality. more

Outstanding customer service! 4/24/2010

I brought my VW Passat in for a new timing belt/ water pump and an overall inspection in preperation for an upcoming trip to Wyoming. I knew I had made the right choice when I called for a quote, and was reassured when I brought the car in. All the employees I talked to were very friendly. I was explained everything that would be done, and when they called to tell me what else they recommended fixing they fully explained the pricing the reason, etc. I hate everything to do with car maintenance, but they made it easy and understandable. They were unable to find my tire key, but when I was preparing to leave the mechanic came out and explained he had found it and told me where it was. thanks car care service! they also give discount to AAA members! more

Excellent Service 4/20/2010

Really enjoyed the care an consideration I got from the minute I walked in the shop. Everyone was so polite and courteous. I really feel I got a fair price for the work done, and it was done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with my whole experience. I feel they are very honest and caring. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs repairs of any type. more
