The Caprilands Foundation runs the Caprilands Herb Farm and store. The woman who ran Caprilands for many years died some years ago, and since then the farm has fallen into disrepair. I reccommend visiting the small store on site, especially if you are already in the area or visiting the Nathan Hale historic site nearby. Supporting this small and historic enterprise is important to keep it going. The shop sells items like dried herbs grown on site, local potpourri, garden and cook books, gifts, garden themed lotions and soaps, etc. During the 'green' parts of the year the grounds, while overgrown and not showing their full potential, are still beautiful. Go for a stroll, see the sheep and chickens, and enjoy the outdoors.
