Last minute decision to check out this attraction. The people on the phone were very pleasant and helpful. Decided to take the unWine'd and Dine river cruise. It was a late evening, 1 1/2 hour cruise on the Colorado River. It was calm, gliding along the river. You could have wine, beer or soda on the cruise. The entertainment was great. There was a cowboy, named Sand, singing original songs with his guitar and then there was Evan. He played Indian type flutes that made me feel very spiritual. It was very calming, I could have listened to it all night. When we got back to the dock, there was a buffet dinner waiting for us. more

We took the sunset tour w/ Canyonlands & had a great time ... it was great to see the rock formations from a different perspective ie a view from below .. \r We only booked the boat tour -- we didn't do the dinner or the light show ...\r \r FYI : if you book a second tour w/Canyonlands : for example my husband also booked the Hummer Tour thru Canyonlands - we got a 10% discount on the 2nd tour\r \r Don't for get to ask about about potential discounts\r \r Highly recommend ! more

The evening starts out with a typical cowboy dinner, including 3 different kinds of BBQ with plenty of sides. It is served buffet style so there is no excuse for being hungry when you leave for the river cruise just before dark. The ride on the Colorado River is so tranquil and the light show is very well done. more

We thoroughly enjoyed the 4 hour jet boat trip. Rory was an excellent guide and made the trip fun as well as extremely interesting. There are some amazing sights to be seen on this trip and we completely recommend this to others. more

My mother and father took this trip a few years ago and raved about it. My wife and I booked the Dinner and Night Time Boat Tour and was the highlight of our visit to Moab. The staff was excellent and friendly. The dinner was very tasty. You have to try the spicy beef! If you go away hungry, it is your fault. \r The boat ride was great. Our guide, Preston, was perfect. He is from the area and knows all aspects of history and geography and was very entertaining.\r I have to agree with other comments that this particular trip would not be fun for kids say under 8-10.\r We were most amazed and happy by the naration giving the glory to God for his wonderful creation that we were witnessing. Most people and companies try the safer, politically correct stance of not mentioning God in anything. If you agree that more companies need to do the right thing like Canyonlands by Night and Day, then support and encourage them.\r We will return to Moab and we will do this tour again. Hope to see you there! more

I am a solo traveller, female, 70 years old. There were 4 others on this van tour who all knew each other. I had recent knee surgery but am pain-free now. The driver was very encouraging and took us on some short hikes which I loved as I'd been reluctant to be too adventurous on my own. He made sure I was comfortable and safe. He even had a pair of walking sticks along which he let me use. I enjoyed all of my stay in Moab but this tour was perhaps the best part. He offered us water and snacks and told us interesting things. more

The Canyonlands by Night tour was a great way to cap a day spent hiking in Arches National Park. The evening began with a buffet chuckwagon dinner (welcome to this Kansas gal). The boat ride was relaxing and fun — and the light show was FANTASTIC. more

Started with a wonderful buffet chuck wagon dinner with four different kinds of meat. Chicken, roast beef and two porks, one regular and one spicy (not very though). The dinner was excellent and everyone got plenty to eat. Followed with a nice apple crisp. We loaded onto a large boat and proceeded down the Colorado River while the guide entertained us with stories, and tales and opportunities to see amazing things in the canyon walls. After it was dark, we were treated to an amazing light show set to music and story. We even were treated to a rare Utah rain storm but by the time they passed out the rain covers it had quit. The clouds parted enough to let us see some fantastic skyviews to include the Milky Way. more
