Canterbury Green Apartments

Terrible place to live. If you ask anybody, they will tell you that the customer service is nonexistent. The management does not care about you at all and is incredibly corrupt. The living spaces are poorly taken care of and something will break down at least once a month. Also I would like to point out that the three 5-star reviews on this page were made on the same day and all referenced the same things ("pool, golf, tennis courts, clubhouse..."), which seems a bit suspicious to me... more

this place was not that nice for the money our son lived here for a year and after cleaning for 3 days and repairing what needed to be done according to their move out paper we did not get a deposit back in fact we got a 1300.00 bill for carpet that we felt was in good shape, After being sent to a collection agency and the agency threatened our credit and our sons credit we settled but i would never recommend this place to anyone ever especially a college student as they are not going to take very good care of it/ Canterbury green will take you money all year and then some more when you move out. when you pay that deposit it is not a deposit, its a downpayment on the bill your going to get when you leave. The extras that go with it are not worth that price that you pay. Look around and find out it is not that great of a deal and no one gets the deposit back, It was noisey and the apartments are crap, maintenance came when they could if they ever came. As a recent resident of Canterbury Green, I would offer the following advice. Do yourself a favor and save some cash and get a nicer apartment elsewhere. There are a few good points to Canterbury Green: A nice landscape, roomy apartments with very good layouts and a fairly safe and secure environment. Unfortunately, the bad things outweigh the good. The property is owned by an off-site corporation, and the on-site management team is the worst. Everything is the tenant's fault. They are very accommodating until you sign your lease, then they won't answer the phone, respond to emails or return voice messages for days. Then, when they take days getting back to you, you are in trouble for not having solved the problem days ago. Also, a few things to know. If you enjoy getting drunk and partying until the early morning, this is the place for you. If you enjoy the smell of smoke not only in the common areas, but also in your ducts, welcome home. If you enjoy the par-3 golf course right outside your apartment, but feel like you would rather slip through goose crap instead of golfing, good news! Really this is nothing more than student housing at a luxury apartment price. The paint is chalky and rubs off on your clothes as you brush by. Most of all, since most their tenants, and apparently their staff, are college kids, expect to be treated as one when dealing with anything. For a couple hundred dollars a month less, you can get something that is much higher quality and a much more inviting environment. You will also be able to deal with a more professional management team. more

I hated to move away from here. It had all the things you would need. It was like a little city in itself. We used the club house, golf, pools and tennis courts weekly! Very nice upkeep too more

This apartment complex is the best in Fort wayne. They have a golf course, tennis courts, workout rooms, and the best looking apartments. You have a washer and dryer in every apartment, and the rooms are spacious. The pools are big and clean, and parking is safe and secure. The price is high but some say worth every penny. more

These are simply the best apartments in fortwayne. They have everything you would want for the comforts of home. You have pools, golf, and a clubhouse. These are great apartment floor plans and the neighbors are awesome as well. Give them a try for small or large stays. PROS: can rent by the month if need be CONS: price is higher but for good reason more
