I would not recommend this place as a wedding venue to anyone. We chose the camping wedding option which allowed us to rent the cottage side of the campground and exclusive use of the outdoor chapel. When we arrived at the campgrounds the cabins were full of mold, mildew, dirty sheets, dust and a beehive outside one of the cabins doors. These bees ended up stinging my little nephew multiple times on our first night there. The owner of the property, Kathy is rude and lacking in professionalism. Dana; the wedding coordinator told us that we did not have to leave on time on Sunday because they had nothing scheduled that day. Little did we know that sitting at the picnic tables talking past 11 would cost us a made up $300 fee that was found no where in our contract. Not only this but she would not tell us about it until 3 weeks later by email even though we had spoke with Dana over the phone and she told us it looked good and that we would get our full deposit back. Her own contract states she will provide an itemized bill 2 weeks after the event so you know if you will receive your deposit back. We tried multiple times to correct this but she basically called us liars. All I can take away from this experience is that this is a horrible place to do business with. They have no idea what they are doing and can't write a valid contract and stick to it to save their lives. Be warned working with this property will not be the experience you hope it to be.
