I went into buy a Vespa 150 and saw the Mojito 150 -- the salesperson said it was on sale for $3200. I came back 2 days later to buy the Mojito. The sales person denied ever saying sale price to me. The scooter was now $3500.
(I should have walked out then but--I was set on buying a scooter)
So I bought a Piaggio. The scooter was delivered (nice) but came with a huge circular scratch on the glove box /chassis, mirrors were wobbly and unsafe, Piaggio inspection paperwork was not done, manual /warranty book was missing as well.
I was promised all accessories that I bought from them to be at cost?main reason at this point I still went through with the deal. I bought a helmet and a windscreen. He charged me $95.00 for a small windscreen. After going home and seeing that other shops charge $98 for the same item. Every other accessory they raised the price 150% above any other shop then took 10% off.
To get the circular scratch repaired I had to take the scooter chassis apart and take them the piece--how's that for stepping up to the plate for service.
I tried to speak to Craig the owner but the salesperson blocked my call to him and then was snide on the phone.
Bad! ! Run don't walk away. If you must buy ---get it in writing! Do not buy any accessories there. Get your full price in writing then shop it!
Pros: Shop looks good
Cons: Lie about price, deliver damaged goods, cusotmer service after the fact is non-existent
