Sometimes people come to your life who leave you no option but to love them and keep them close to you heart. Sometime we remain speechless to convey the effects of a kind smile mixed with an encouraging statement that truly empowers you and inspires you to go against all odds. Sometimes that little whisper of “I believe in you” transforms you to a human with unstoppable ambitions. Miss. Kaur you are my guardian angel. Your caring personality, along with you unique style and ability to simplify complex matters has helped me to achieve my goals. Without your fantastic NCLEX review course at California Carrier College I would have not been able to pass my exam on the first attempt.\r Miss Kaur, you are one of a kind, and I am very thankful for the way you prepared me to take on that challenge. \r more

I am a former student of CCC who graduated in july of last year and I was not happy with the system they were working with , but out of no where i received a call from the school people and they offered me to come in for the free review for nclex but at first i never wanted to go back and go through the same drama but on a second through i planned to go and see if it was of any use...... Guess what the outcome of going back to the school and reviewing for 5-6 weeks is today i have a state paper in my hand stating I PASSED NCLEX......HURRAY!!!!!! I will not the the credit of all this at all that why i want to thank MS.KAUR for an amazing class last semester. I’m really sad today that i never admired you when I was there in school as a student but ..........TODAY I CAN PROUDLY SAY THAT I DONT'S THINK THAT I'VE EVER ENJOYED ANY OTHER CLASS IN CCC AS MUCH AS YOUR NCLEX REVIEW . Anyways, I wanted to let you know how much of an IMPACT YOU HAD ON ME DURING THESE REVIEW CLASS , and not only academic wise but also in my life. I’ve never met someone as passionate as you are and you’ve inspired me to find something I am passionate about and that I love doing. I hope to also make the best use of this career as you have. Now i can proudly say that i have not met anyone as you Ms KAUR who goes out of its way for someone's else's success...... and at last but not the least i can say that now i like the way school system works...... LOVE you for what you have done to change my entire life ...... A PLASTIC CARD WORTH $$$$$$$$$$ Thanks Ms kaur and the school for giving us an opportunity for the review.. more

I attended the free nclex review provided by the college . Prior to telling you all my good news (spoiler alert!), I wanted to tell you all a little about myself. I graduated this nursing about 8 months ago and never bothered to give exam as when i graduated i really did not had a good impression about nurses leadership qualities (gossips, attitude and what not) but when i realized my att is about to expire i returned to college.I returned to the colleg for nclex review program, a lot more anxious, and a lot less confident than I had ever been as a test-taker. Finishing school was my first major accomplishment, and passing the NCLEX (yesterday!) was my second! I know i came personally to college to give you ms. KAUR a hug and to thank you . But when you were in front of me i could not express myself as but I am writing this not only to let you know again I passed, but to explain to you how much your review helped me. Not once during the 5week day span did I dread coming or feel like I was lost, with your funny acronyms and When the review was over, the notes we received were what I used to study, and I can honestly say I felt as prepared as one can feel. I wanted to thank you personally, and ask you to continue doing what you do so students like me can prove to themselves that even though they struggle with test-taking it's possible to pass on the first try. And above all thanks for being available 24 hours a day , i still remember no matter if its 1 or 2 midnight and i had questions you were always available.... Hats off Ms Kaur. Thank you again for the best review and above all the encouraging words you kept saying through out the review....... Thanks you sooooo much again . more

I am already a graduate from this school, was very disappointed after I graduated that it was already past 5 months and i was not feeling well prepared to sit for nclex and had already forgotten everything, and one day got call from school people and they asked to come in for nclex review at first i hesitated to go but gave second thought to it and decided to go......... GUESS what passed nclex with 85 questions and THANKS thanks and thanks to Ms kaur for giving a great review and helped me pass the nclex at first go and when i was giving my nclex i could hear her voice in review class giving fun acronyms to us to memorize stuff which made life so much easier. Instructors like you are great assets to the school. Thanks to the school who gave us chance to come in for review even after we had graduated. Last but not the least THANKS THANKS AND THANKS. more

LVN program 4/7/2012

I've never had any complaints from any school attended. But this school of California Career College is probably one of the sick and most money making scam private nursing school in southern california. I had one nursing instructor who were, to put it kindly, on a power and ego trip. No matter what the students did in clinical (creating nursing care plans, etc) it was incorrect. These instructor has low self esteem and she tried to get pumped up from outside sources and the best way she does it is by putting another person down. My point is that these type of very sick, egomaniacal instructors need to leave the teaching profession or change their acts before we lose more perfectly capable nursing students. more

Don't attend this school 2/18/2012

LVN program in California Career College was the worst experience in my life. Most of students were failing due a lot of stress .In the first semester the clinical is in an assisted living and we don’t do anything .There is nothing to us to practice, it is just a big waste of time. One of the teachers just go there and sit in the conference room with the students to surf in the cell phone internet ,or just leave out early to go eat or shopping. (The clinical is supposed to start by 7 am to 3 pm), and most of the time the teacher was arriving late (9 am) and leaving early( about 1 pm). The teachers are rude; one of them has a strong accent and we can’t understand almost one word that she says .The lectures are based on instructor's experiences and read over slides, this when she is not speaking about her life . They don’t have any material to teach us, even a new box of gloves, most of the gloves are so old and have holes on them .You need to practice with used syringes . They are always out of everything. It’s just a complete nightmare. Where is the money of the student’s tuition? Unethical things is going on in this school and nobody say or do nothing .One of the teachers always favorites some students because they talk the same language, she does know that we can’t speak another language besides English, but she insists in speak her own language. This is so disrespectful . This same teacher always discourage the students ,She always states to us :”Why are you doing the LVN program ,if you are going clean up after s&**&&**”. She does not explain nothing, like I wrote before she just talk about her private life and she even states:"" If I ask about something of the chapter and you don't know ,I swear I will fail you!"" Those are the words that come out of her mouth ,always discouraging the students and being unethical most of the time . I had a meeting with the program director, I explained my concerns my worries and I made it clear that I was not happy with the teachers, and how one of them was treating me and my colleagues and she yelled at me, and said that I just know is complain, and complain .Why I can’t go there and tell my concerns about my own education? I am paying for it, and it’s not cheap. Please DO NOT come here. I know it is one of the cheapest school in the Valley, but at the end you will going to pay more and more to finish. If I would have read reviews warning me of such bad school, I would NEVER have attended and wasted my time to be abused. I was so stress that I got sick. What a horrible experience , waste of time and money! more
