Ive come to the Renaissance Cafe off and on for ten years. Im convinced it is one of the best kept secrets in Portland. The martinis are delicious, elegantly presented, and cheap. The food usually ranges from good to great, although they sometimes dont get things exactly right. The panini sandwiches are good and a bargain for the price. The deserts are excellent. The decor makes it seem like a cute cozy candle-lit Italian Cafe. Warren, the owner, is a nice guy who goes out of his way to make sure people are comfortable. Did I mention that the drinks are delicious and cheap? Overall it is one of the best values in town, period.
