A pleasant, pleasant surprise 8/13/2007

We had a wonderful experience at Cafe de Paris. From the outside, it has somewhat of an unassuming look to it (my husband though it was WAY more casual--like a sub shop--given the exterior!) But once inside, it was warm and vibrant at the same time. We had a going-away dinner for my cousin and his wife, and since they currently live in Sherlington, VA, and we live in Baltimore, it was a good halfway point for all of us. The barkeep was pleasant and knowledgeable and took care of our needs well--very attentive. The hostess was pleasant, and our waitress Jennifer was right on the money with her recommendations. Terrible Dining Experience 6/5/2007

From the moment we arrived in the restaurant and waited at least 5 minutes for someone to greet us, to the time we were leaving and had an interesting conversation with the nonchalant owner, our experience at Cafe de Paris was total disappointment. I should have known based on my call to make reservations. I was rushed off the phone as I told him it was my daughter's birthday. Cons: everything about the restaurant~ambience, food, service, management and attention to detail more

The price is not worth it 3/10/2005

I saw the rating for this restaurant and wanted to try it out but I was really disappointed with the entire experience. more
