store clerks don't have good attitude 9/16/2011

I had a very bad experience at Convey location at 48-18 Northern Blvd. L.I.C. NY 11401 on 9/16/2011. I found a pair of walk boots on sale. When I checked out, the cashier said that the sales label was wrong. Then a man, "the manager," talked with me on my demand. He blamed me for changing the label instead of selling the merchandise to me. Can you believe that? I was very angry and demanded them to check store camera and see if I did anything wrong. The "manager" kept mumbling and accusing me of wrongdoing without any proof. I told him to learn about American business laws and learn how to be a store manager. I stormed out of the store. more

Bargain clothing store 12/17/2005

Quality of the clothing is really cheap but you can find some funky graphic t-shirts for under $10. They do have unique clothing but I recommend checking the seams and making sure the sleeve lengths or pant lengths are even. They have mens, womens and children clothing and accessories Some clearance racks for items under $5. They do not have a changing room and do not offer a refund, only exchange. Only buy if you're sure you want the item. more

Cheap goods 11/21/2005

Once again, another "get what you pay for" store. Conway sells closeouts, irregular lots, and overstocks. Items are very inexpensive (clothing like shirts for as little as $1.99) but quality is questionable. The store is also very overcrowded with merchandise and difficult to navigate. more
