Homeless U.S. Army Veterans 2/21/2011

I really dont want to give this company CGA a bad review. I and my roommates are concerend, we had a move in date 3 days ago but have yet to be able to pay a down deposit or be given keys. We have been told they need to contact the homeowner (which i understand) i dont understand why they haven't contacted the homeowners this past week. We have called Ashley N. Valdez severaly times because of are concern of being homelesss by the end of the day. We have done nothing but spoken to her nicely, even driving all the way to there office just to speak of are concern. Valdez respones that we have called servely times is that we need to allow them to do there jobs. I and my two other roommates are U.S. Army Veterans, we nornaly feel great appreciation from people but this company that we are about to give thousands of dollars to feels like they care nothing about there custmores. more

WARNING!!!\r \r No matter if you are a Tenant, Owner, Landlord, Investor or Agent, stay away from these people.....\r \r This company (CGA Property Management Company) advertises and list services to Train individuals to become Property Managers and promises at the end of training designated Property Accounts for the individuals to begin managing in order to generate income. The company charges $450.00 for the program.\r The training is taught and managed by Chris Airola (Christopher K. Airola) in Citrus Heights Ca. In the beginning the program will "appear" advantageous, rewarding and promising. However, his training "style" is dis-organized, un-prepared and redundant which causes the training to be pro-longed and lengthy. \r Mr. Airola will then lose focus and forget what he has already gone over and trained, causing additional pro-longed days of training to continue. You will feel lost, un-organized and frustrated and then he will NOT issue the Accounts as previously promised.\r Mr. Air more

Thankful for CGA Property Management 5/6/2009

I've said it a million times before, and I'll say it again... I'm so thankful that I have CGA managing my properties. I'm sure my dad feels the same way as well. I guess my constant hounding him to ditch his old company finally paid off. I've never worked with a company that had the kind of customer service and follow-up that they do. I have been renting now for 1 year from this property management company, I am very happy with them. They really take pride and truly care about the properties they rent out. Any problems I have had they have taken care of almost immediately and always return phone calls quickly. I would definitely recommend CGA. They are very particular to who they rent to, and I think that that is a great thing...it shows they have pride in their business. more

Securuty Deposits are regulated by The State of California 10/15/2008

To the contrary, Tenant move-ins actually take approximately one hour, move-out walk-thur's generally take 30 minutes. Tenants are charged for damage above normal wear and tear. The rules for security deposit are clearly spelled out by the state of California and CGA follows those rules very closley. Some tenants become angry when they get charged for cleaning or repairs. They always have recourse starting with a written letter stating their concerns to the property manager. These issues are reconciled nearly 100 percent of the time. \r CGA is a very well run company and manages hundreds of homes. Many of our tenants have rented from CGA for years and many re-rent from CGA. CGA has managed thousands of homes for nearly 20 years. We have a very high very level of repeat business, satisfied tenants and satisfied owner clients. more

AVOID, STAY AWAY, BAD...BAD...BAD 6/24/2008

Do not rent from this company. When I moved into my home, they conducted a 5 minute ""walk through"" of the property and they did not document any of the flaws or damages. I documented the things on my own. When I moved out, they conducted a one hour walk through and noted all of the damages that were there when I moved in. They withheld my deposit due to those pre-existing damages. When I called them to discuss the matter...they went nuts on the phone, the manager yelled at me, told me I was wrong and did not know what I was talking about...she even laughed at me and threatened me. Well, I conducted my own little investigation and wrote my own letters...3 weeks later, that manager was calling me asking where she should mail my deposit check to. I read that others have had problems almost identical to mine. Stay away from them, they manipulate the laws hoping that you will not know any better and only care about money...BEWARE!!!!! Cons: Nasty manager, poor inspections, pass blame onto clients more

BAD...BAD...WORSE!!! 6/20/2008

Stay away from this company!!! They conduct short, spotty move in inspections, (literally 5 minutes) and hour and a half move out inspections. They treat you like crap and charge you for damages that were there when you moved in. I was lucky that I documented all of the damages in a letter shortly after move in. After multiple phone conversations with their rude and threatening staff, discovering they gave us a fraudulent invoice, contacting the actual owner of the property, and two letters pointing out real estate laws, I got my deposit back! How humbling for them to have to return it after they were so mean and nasty to me and after they told me to bring them to court! It was a nightmare! more
