CG Cosmetic Surgery

I wish I can give this place negative 0 stars people beware this place is a chop shop do your research they even changed there name cuz of all there law suits. All they care about is money and they’ll screw you at the end for that $1000 deposit I’m speaking from personal experience. A veterinary hospital for animals is cleaner then them ewww disgusting. No one barley speaks English there and all the doctors are dicks they pick and choose who they want to do surgery on. The actually owner of this place is in jail for medical fraud and his wife is running there place. They had 3 cancellations the day of my surgery including mine. There’s so many places in Miami to do cosmetic surgery that are legit. I wish I listened to people and did more research before I got tricked into them taking my my $1000 deposit. And on top of the the head senior coordinator Catherine Ruiz De Banegas went on social media and disclosed my patient privacy which she violated a hipaa law which I already made a complaint and also contacted the attorney general. And there records show they had 8 deaths please people beware and take ur money elsewhere. I hope they get shot down. Worst of all the don’t follow COVID guidelines it’s always packed in there whether it’s the front or the back. I’m so happy and thank god for looking out for me to not going through with the procedure. The only think is I lost $3000 in expenses traveling here and another $500 for the cash (they take only cash) that they made me pay for there tests and supplies. Good luck! more

I flew all the way to Florida to wait over 6 hours after my schedule appointment, only to have my surgery cancelled because I had a panic attack seven years ago when my house burned down, even though I have had 4 surgeries in a surgery center since than and it was never ever an issue. Another gal also got her mommy makeover cancelled and she was not given a reason. I double checked with the pre op medical assistant before I left that everything was okay and he assured me it was all good to go. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. Please take my advise. I'm out over $4000 for travel and expenses. They are TERRIBLE. more

from the inception of requesting a consultation, the service has been horrible. They call you "Doll" & "Love" and try to help you- But never a call back. They say "Here text your coordinator specifically so you don't feel like we are ignoring you" Over a month since I have DIRECTLY TEXT my coordinator- silence. Ladies these are all signs of a plastic surgery farm! RUN! They will take you cash and forget about you. They are also known to switch Doctors at the last minute. YOU WILL DIE ON THEIR SURGICAL TABLE.....Unless you continue to wave cash in their faces....Then they MIGHT help you. more

Everyone at CG was great and very kind. My coordinator was great, she answered all my questions when I asked and my experience at CG was a very good one! My surgeon listened and gave me what I asked for!:) more

Disappointed that my surgery was cancelled again.. but Judith really really was a big help on trying to work her magic.. and she did pull major teeth.. even though i still have to make another trip.. she went beyond what anyone would have.. i love her and she made things happen!!!!! Guess ill just be planing on coming back to Miami!! more

Please DO NOT go to this place!!!!!!!!!!! They are very nice at first but once they get you to sign the agreement form you can’t get a hold of the coordinator. I met with Madelin she was so nice at first I only want a breast augmentation she kept insisting I do a breast lift with the augmentation which I honestly did not want when she tried to process my card the card wouldn’t work she advised that she would call me on That following Monday I seen her on a Saturday never received a call that Monday few days went by I received several missed calls from Madelin and few text messages for me to check my email and sign When I check my email it shows that she process the payment without even calling me I didn’t get upset I just thought she was doing her Job she kept harassing me about signing the form I did after signing the form I wasn’t able to get in contact with Madelin she kept ignoring my text my calls every time I called I would get placed on hold and the call seemed to end. When I finally reach Madelin she had a major attitude because I advised her that I was aggravated with the way she handled everything how she been ignoring me and didn’t help me at all nor with questions I had regarding my procedure. I also reach of to her colleagues for help no called or help me find answer to questions I had. I told Madelin I want a refund she said she would process the refund she never did few day went by called to speaking to accounting after send written email regarding cancellation and when would I be receiving my refund the lady I spoke to Lidia said she would email regarding cancellation she NEVER emailed me back no I am going to take legal action. Please do not go to this place they DO NOT care about their patients all they care about is the money and getting you signed after that they will ignore you and on top of that you don’t even get to meet the dr. you meet the coordinator that doesn’t even have a doctors license to tell you about your body. Save your money do not go to this place VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! more

I don't see how they're getting all these positive reviews. I got a BA in Sept 2018, I flew in from out of town. Didn't meet the surgeon for my consultation so I wasn't able to discuss sizes or the look I wanted. A nurse just handed me implants to choose from and was not very knowledgeable at all. The day of surgery I met the doctor 10 min beforehand, told him the size i wanted, and without any advice he just took my measurements and said that size wouldn't fit but the next size down would be ok. It wasn't ok. After surgery I was almost immediately wheeled outside still high on drugs to meet my ride. I saw a nurse (not the doctor) the next day, and that was the last I'd see or barely hear from them again. No one calls to follow up or check on you, once you've had your procedure they're done with you, at least if you're coming from out of town. I started experiencing issues with my left breast not dropping, constantly called the post OP department to speak to a nurse and was always told they're busy and would call back but never did. My emails were answered weeks apart in broken English and were very vague. I was told I had capsular contraction and to try massages with some medication. I was in contact with a nurse through text messaging about revision surgery, she eventually just stopped responding. This is a surgery CENTER, they're not interested in building rapport or catering to individual needs, they just do your surgery and send you out the door. Don't let they're prices and photos get you, that's how they got me. It seems like all their work is brilliant but for every "perfect" BA there's another one gone wrong which of course they don't post. I was consulted by another surgeon in my home town who told me that my implants were way too large for my chest size, that my inframammory fold was lower than normal making my breasts difficult to operate on and that should have been explained to me beforehand. DON'T BE FOOLED BY CG COSMETICS! Go somewhere else and pay the extra money for a surgeon who cares. more

They have yet to return my refund after my surgical coordinator Nancy Perez took my money under false pretenses. Camila and Nancy have refused or neglected to return my phone calls or emails in addition to have multiple receptionists lie and tell me my check was in the mail (Cynthia, Rose, Myla). I went to CG for a breast augmentation. The staff was very friendly and kind. I was introduced to Dr. Mel Ortega at my consultation. From the first minute I met him I felt at ease. He was extremely kind and professional. I went ahead and booked the procedure. I could not be happier with the results. It has been 10 months since I had the surgery and I am still very pleased. I had no problems from start to finish with the entire process. I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Ortega to anyone considering plastic surgery. more

I have a breast lift/augmentation scheduled for Thursday the 14th and I am very excited. I have been trying to get this procedure done for a very long time and I always called the same place but my credit was never good enough to be approved from the very first time I called I have always been helped by a coordinator named she is a wonderful person and has really done all she can for me no matter how many times i called and how busy i was she was always amazingly graceful and always concerned for my wishes and looking out for my best interest. more

I’m very happy with my results. I went to CG center and everybody there was very professional and nice with me. My surgery was a bilateral standard mastopexy (Lifting my breast by removing excess skin), and bilateral reduction mammoplasty (Reducing the size of my breast by removing excess breast tissue). My surgery was in august 2009. I'am very happy with my result. I love dr. Craft he's the best thanks to him my life change a lot. Am planning to go back next year for a tummy tuck, I lose 30 pounds and am ready for my next surgery. more

After I breast fed my baby for 10 months - my breast were never the same. They started to sag more and more every year. Also I have a long chest area.... Dr. Friedman was able to "fill" in my breast area without doing a breast lift! Also the Coral Gables staff team was very professional, nice and comforting to me before and after the procedure. my breast look and feel so real just like the breast I had before I had my baby but even better.....I love my breast now thank you coral gables. more

I too read the reviews on this board before my consultation at Coral Gables Cosmetic in Miami. I have to admit some of them scared me almost to the point of cancelling the surgery, but I am writing this review to say I am so glad I didn't! For all of you, especially those who are travelling from abroad as I was, coming from Canada, I have this to note; I would certainly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting work done! The clinic was very clean & professional. My surgeon Dr. Jacob Freiman was fabulous, not to mention young & funny ;) But one of the most impressionable persons on me was my coordinator Yadira Salina. She made the entire process a breeze and made me feel so loved & comfortable but kept a level of professionalism that exceeded expectations! She almost always answered the phone for my many questions and if I left a message she would call back within the hour, in addition to giving me hotel recommendations since I wasn't familiar with the area. Cudos to her! more
