I am Dr. C. Franklin Truan, and I am a clinical psychologist who has been practicing in the field of mental health for forty years. Over the years, I have helped thousands of people from diverse backgrounds. The dominant theme I have observed in people is their need and desire to improve the psychological and interpersonal quality of their lives. The major issue for people who want to improve their lives is that they do not know how to do it. I have spent my professional life teaching people how to better manage their inner emotional and interpersonal lives. We all experience problems in living. If fact we all expeience many of the same problems. It is how you deal with those problems that matters. If you are open minded and willing to learn, I can help you learn to manage your life to experience more quality. I am the author of Meta-Values: Universal Principles for a Sane World and my newest book My Enemy-My Self: Overcoming Your Self-Defeating Mind. These books are designed to help people understand the mysterious world of psychology. They are what I call “common-sense psychology. Remember, if you have proplems you are not alone, we all have them. My goal is to teach you how to identify and solve them for yourself.. I am a Clinical Psychologist that believes in teaching people how to take responsible control of their psychological selves and their interpersonal lives. My goal is to provide common sense psychological education and to promote specific avenues for achieving personal growth and fulfillment. The treatment of existing psychological/emotional problems is of course necessary but my main focus is preventive education and teaching people how to solve their own problems. Instead of giving each hungry person a fish,I believe in teaching people how to fish.
