This place is a landmark for the Harrison Arts District in Oak Park. It offers poetry readings, open mic nights, and even bible studies. It cannot be missed.

Artsy warm atmosphere, good coffee 3/5/2006

If you are looking for a cozy place to enjoy a good cup of coffee Buzz Cafe is it in Oak Park. A locally owned and operated cafe, it's a nice change of pace from the local chains. They feature sandwiches and soup and of course a wide array of specialty coffees and teas. The cafe decorated with art from locals (most of which can be purchased) and often they have local performs as well. This is a great place to meet a friend for a quick bite or just chill out and read a book. more

Charming local cafe with great coffee 8/5/2005

Located in the Harrison Art District, Buzz Cafe fits right into the neighborhood surrounding it. The cafe provides one of the only places in the area where you can grab a cup of joe, kick back and relax. The coffee is good and average price for what it is. They also feature local art on the wall which is available for sale. more
