This animal clinic has been a nightmare for us. First of all, when they handed me my kitty after being spayed, I saw the newspapers they had put in her cage. My first concern was that she was inhaling the toxic ink from the newspapers and also that she could begin leaking them or chewing on the newspapers. A pet is to be treated like a toddler. Shortly after we arrived home, the kitty seemed to be ready to be let out of the carrier. So I opened the door for her to come out and as soon as she stepped out, she began screaming. I noticed right away that the bandage was too tight and also that it was not covering her wound. I couldn’t believe it. I called the clinic right away. I said, my cat is screaming and they said to bring her back to the clinic. I sensed that it was not a good idea to do that. But I did not know exactly what to do. She was too scared, too upset and screaming. After some time, she stopped screaming but it was obvious that she was upset and very stressed out. I realized that I had to remove her bandage but I could not do it; she would not let me; she was terrified. It was clear to me that the tight bandage was making her very upset and uncomfortable. My poor kitty, after going through the surgery and everything was further traumatized by the tight bandage they wrapped around her. It was serving no purpose other than torturing my cat since it wasn’t even protecting her surgical wound. This is beyond me. What is wrong with these people? On top of all this, the stitches need to be removed. I am very upset over this horrible experience. Butler Animal Clinic is a horrible place. My cat has been affected in so many ways. She is not acting normal at all. She is even having trouble jumping down from a very short height. They damaged my cat physically and psychologically. And this has also taken a toll on my health too. These people have no idea the pain they have caused.
