LIGHTS ARE ON BUT NOBODY WAS HOME! 12/28/2006

THIS IS A NICE SET UP BUT THERE WAS NO STAFF AVAILABLE OR AROUND TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. WHEN I DID FIND SOMEONE THEY SEEMED TO BE PRE-OCCUPIED AND FAR FROM INTERESTED IN ANSWERING MY QUESTION. PERHAPS IT WAS AN OFF DAY FOR THEM BUT I HAVE RECENTLY TALKED TO OTHERS WHO SAID THEY HAVE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCES OVER THE PAST YEAR OR SO. THIS ONCE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED NURSERY HAS BECOME VERY COMPLACIENT IN PROVIDING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS IS WHAT QUALITY I LOOK FOR IN A GOOD RETAIL NURSERY ALONG WITH QUALITY & HEALTHY PLANT SELECTION. I THINK I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS TO A NURSERY WHERE THEIR STAFF OR OWNERS ARE EXCITED ABOUT GARDENING, NOT JUST THERE FOR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE TO SPEND IN THEIR STORE. more

Bushnell Garden Nursery 9/27/2005

This is a good nursery, we went here when we were redoing our front yard. They have a wide variety of plants and have the largest supply of day lilies anywhere. I would recommend checking out their Native Californian plants, they don't have that many but they are all extremely drought tolerant. They have a nice selection of pots and other outdoor accessories. There is also and indoor shop with garden themed stuff inside. The staff is all very helpful and good about recommending plants. more

Not just for landscapers...Great spot for unique gifts! 9/18/2005

This became my new favorite spot for unique holiday gifts last Christmas! I discovered Bushnells while we were getting ready to landscape our yard. They have an amazing selection of plants. I ended up being more interested in their gift store though! What a beautiful store with a selection of items sure to please several people on your gift list! In addition to items for gardeners, home decor is also available. I left with gifts ranging from garden decorations to ceramics for indoors. I spent so much time browsing because there was so much to see. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and made a beautiful presentation with their gift bags. more
