My wife went to Burt Grant for a couple of years but over time the stylists that she preferred left. Other stylists in the salon had been able to touch up an existing haircut that needs only a trim; however you will not get what you want if you change styles, EVEN WITH PICTURES.
Most recently, she went to get a significant amount of length removed. Using multiple old pictures of herself, she showed her stylist EXACTLY what she wanted. The stylist, who claimed to be very experienced, reassured her that the cut could be reproduced, no problem. Unfortunately, after giving her the wrong cut at the wrong length, this stylist admitted that she always substitutes her own judgment for the client's.
So, if you have no preference for your hair, this is a good place to go. If you want to get the haircut you requested, look somewhere else.
